Day 7 - Back to Honaunau

We couldn't resist squeezing-in one last snorkling morning before our flight left. We got up early and were able to swim for an entire hour before heading back to hit the showers for our muggy trip home.

triggerfish GOPR0798 A ghostly rendering of the reef. This blurry vision is not the camera's fault.  The camera was looking through a turbid halocline - a layer of less dense water atop a layer of less-mixed and more dense water below. The wierd refraction of light is caused by light's interplay with the different density mediums.

Millitary exercises were taking place so we got to see one of the world's largest aircraft rumble by. That's a look of relief that the kid slept 3.5 out of the 4.5 hours. Sunset. HOME!!!
